Jesus Prayer Pendant

In the Orthodox tradition, Lord, have mercy (Kyrie eleison) is not merely a plea for forgiveness. It is an appeal for the Lord’s mercy, compassion, healing, and saving presence. It is a prayer we can return to again and again ~ in moments of gratitude, uncertainty, sorrow, temptation, or joy. We ask not because Christ is reluctant to give, but because prayer turns our hearts toward the One who is already near.
